She provides in-person and televisit evaluations, offers on-site and off-site diagnostic procedures to evaluate the condition and offers treatment plans catered to individual needs.
Dr Shyamala Kumar and her team work closely with a network of referring providers in communicating the referral process, coordinating the testing and sending an updated complete treatment plan on all patients.
Shyamala Kumar, MD is a board certified and fellowship trained Neurologist who has provided valley residents with premier Neurological care since 2001.
Shyamala Kumar, MD earned her medical degree in India. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore Medical Center, NJ. She then finished her Neurology Residency at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She subsequently did her Fellowship in Neurophysiology with special emphasis in Epilepsy.
Dr. Kumar is a board certified and fellowship trained, has provided premier neurologic care in the Valley since 2000 providing the personalized care that patients need to optimize their health and well-being.
Jennifer Heeter, FNP, joined the team in 2020 and brings with her a depth of education and experience. Our goal is to create a patient-centered experience that emphasizes education so that patients and their support team can truly take part in the treatment and management of their condition.
New patients will always be seen by Dr. Kumar for initial thorough evaluation, to review test results to have a detailed discussion about different treatment options and to develop individualized care plan.
Subsequent follow-up visits will be scheduled to see Jennifer Heeter once they are stable on a treatment plan.
